Systems Dynamics was started in 1972 and in 1986, Systems Dynamics (Software) Pvt. Ltd. (SDSPL) was formed to address the software products and ITeS market.
Over the last thirty five years, over hundred small and large organisations in the private and public sector have been provided software packages, implementation, data processing services and project consultancy.
Today SDSPL provides ready made, and configurable, enterprise wide business applications suite and knowledge management with business process and workflow modelling packages that could be used across all industries and government business applications are integrated and the licensee may authorize users, i.e. employees, customers, suppliers or consultants / auditors, to work on the system 24 x 7 worldwide via the web. The p ...ackages are priced to be affordable by small and medium size users who may even opt for SaaS (software as a service) model. Server license is also available to all users.
SDSPL runs an ITES in the domain of human expertise mapping and people matching which can be used by direct recruiters, recruitment agents and education institutes.
The applications developed by SDSPL are chosen for their strategic impact or innovativeness rather than mere 'computerization'. Infrastructure
SDSPL has a modern infrastructure with latest computers and software in the western part of Ahmedabad. The developers work with IBM, Sun and Microsoft technologies. Servers installed include Windows 2008 Server running SQL Server 2008 besides a mid-range IBM i-Series server running V5R3 and WAS with DB2/UDB. The IDEs used are Visual Studio 2008 Architect and Web sphere Studio for Applications Development.
All medium and large size projects are managed through Project Management System and Ensemble (own product). These programs help optimise resource usage and also help in tracking the progress and inter-office communication besides knowledge management.
